Mui Ne has long been considered the "Hawaii "of Vietnam. It boasts shady roads under coconut trees, a beautiful beach and cliffs battered by the waves of the sea. The typical scenery of Mui Ne lies in the moving lines of golden sand caused by the wind and when they are seen from afar they look like moving waves. The scenery looks more fascinating at dawn, when young Cham girls in green dresses go to work. That's why no photographer fails to visit this area.
Mui Ne has a big potential for tourism. Therefore, many companies and investors have established co-operation ties with local authorities. There are the Hai Duong Company of France and Binh Thuan Province; Victoria, a joint venture with a French Corporation, capitalized at USD 3 million; Pamera of the Ukraine, and Bamboo Tourism of overseas Vietnamese living in the United States.
Apart from Hai Duong and Victoria resorts, which were established in 1994 and 1996 respectively, Saigonmuine was put into operation in October 1999. Several weeks after its inauguration, the resort had many guests. In late December, 1999 it did not have enough rooms for all the visitors who wished to stay.
