Emeraude Cruises launched this Emeraude on December 16, 2003, the first ever luxury cruise ship designed as a direct inspiration from the past in Vietnam. Holiday-makers on Emeraude will cruise around scenic, memorable and beautiful Halong Bay. French owner, Eric Merlin, accidentally discovered the existence of a magnificent fleet of four single-wheeled paddle steamers-Emeraude, Perle, Saphir and Rubis, operating in Halong and other parts of Vietnam from 1906 to 1945 from a black and white postcard he bought in France. |

No additional charge for one child under 6 sharing the same bed, limited to one child per booking only.

US$ 75.00 net for one child from 6 to 12 sharing cabin with parents on extra mattress, limited to one child per booking.

Child above 12 years old must occupy a sole cabin and pay adult rate.

A valid passport is required upon check-in on board. Children whose traveling documents are attached to parent's passport must travel with the parent. |

08h – 08h30: Shuttle Bus or private car pick up to Halong Bay, stop on route to relax or sightseeing on the way
Check-in between 11h30 - 12h00 at the Emeraude Cafe in Halong City
Enjoy a refreshing “Welcome Cocktail” upon check-in on the sun deck
Cruise commences and the lavish buffet lunch served at the restaurant
Visit by Tender to see the Sung Sot Caves (Cave of Surprises) weather permitting
Option of Kayaking or Swimming near Hang Trong anchorage
Vietnamese cuisine demonstration at the sun deck
Complimentary canapés at the sun deck bar
